Teaching is one of Leslie’s passions.  As a law professor, she taught a variety of courses at introductory and advanced levels. She continues to guest lecture, present at conferences and seminars, and tutor individuals.

From 1998 – 2013, Leslie was a professor at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.  There, she taught graduate and post-graduate courses in Legal Ethics/Professional Responsibility, Privacy Rights, Media Law, Information Law, and seminars in topics such as Free Speech in Cyberspace, Digital Defamation, Human Rights, and Workplace Privacy.  

Leslie developed course materials including course web sites; created lectures, presentations, and examinations for both traditional and distance education courses.

 In addition, she wrote and published scholarly and mass-audience works in a variety of formats.

Leslie has presented to diverse audiences on legal issues involving ethics, technology, and privacy.
